About Me

I was born in Taiwan on January, 2nd, 1996. I received my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering with specialization in energy engineering from RWTH University Aachen in 2015. And I received my master degree in automation engineering from RWTH University Aachen in Feburary 2022. In March 2022 I started my career at Siemens AG under Digital Industries department, consulting clients' needs from a business perspective, translating them into technical terms and developing clean software system on cloud (AWS, MindSphere) and on industrial edge (IoT) platforms.

My Driver

I am a highly motivated, disciplined and curious person. Driven by my interest in constantly learning new concepts. Challenges with high impact and goals in mind, evolves me to the next level. Such challenges keeps me curious especially when encountering obstacles. Furthermore, I love to work in team with various cultural differences.

Digital Industries Siemens AG

Software Engineer

I was in charge of developing and implementing a predictive service application for depaneling machine on Industrial Edge platform.
Also I migrated and refactored 4 years old software product from MindSphere PaaS (Siemens Cloud) to a platform independent product.
In addition to that I created Gitlab CI/CD pipelines in multiple projects to accelerate software development in various international scrum teams.
Furthermore, I developed automated terraform scripts for provisioning AWS EKS Cluster and other AWS related infrastructure.
I helped to develop Industrial Edge Ecosystem and I created the developer guide.

Research Assistant

I developed a real-time capable bus system for an Engine-in-the-Loop testbench, and coupling other testbenches for real-time powertrain simulation in the project DUETT. The goal is to optimize state-of-the-art powertrain technologies and find a cost-efficient solution to reduce CO2 and NOx emissions during the powertrain development process.
